Dr. Osuji was born in Jos State, Nigeria, West Africa. He attended British Elementary and High School in Nigeria. He came to the United States at the age of 20yrs, after 2 years of English and American Advanced Level studies, Pre-Medical Science studies in 1985-1987 in Nigeria. He is a graduate of Hillsborough Community College – H.C.C. (Dale Mabry Campus), University of South Florida – U.S.F. – Tampa, Florida 1987-1991 with B-Sc in Biology/Biochemistry-Pre-medicine.

In 1992-1993 he gained admission into Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and graduated in 1997 with a D.O. degree. Then he successfully completed an Internship in Internal Medicine 1997-1998, at PCOM/ Graduate Hospital, at CityLine Ave. – in Philadelphia, PA. Finally, he completed his medical Residency training in Family Medicine at the Millcreek Community Hospital, Erie, Pa.

Shortly after Medical Residency, he joined the United States Air Force, completing successful numerous military medical trainings in Allergic Medicine, Combat casualty and Advanced Officers assignments for higher Command assignments. While in Medical Practice at the MacDill Air Force Hospital, he supported Family Medicine Unit, Emergency Medical Unit, Allergy Medicine Unit, and SOCOM Clinic in 2000-2002. In 2003 Dr. Osuji successfully gained the rank of Major with a subsequent supervisor commander for Family Practice Urgent Care Medical Unit. In October 2003 he was honorably discharged with numerous accomplishments, recognitions, and awards.

Presently, Dr. Osuji is a Board Certified physician by the American Board of urgent Care Medicine. He also holds the position of Medical Director for Mercy Medical Wellness Center with two offices located in South Tampa, 3704 West Euclid Avenue, and in North Tampa, 4202 West Waters Avenue. He is most satisfied with his association with the African Ambassadors, Org., which he founded in 2002 for the purpose of providing free medical care, legal and social services for the underprivileged members of our community with the intent of expressing Goodness with Love, Respect, kindness and Mercy. He is also a member of the World Health Organization, Organization of African Unity, American Academy of Ambulatory Care, American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physician.
