Our Mission

We incorporate the three performing arts -- Music, Acting, & Dance -- to bring affordable musical theater to stages throughout the Tampa Bay area. Our main offering is the popular Broadway musical, which spans the barriers of age, race, gender and culture. We strive to honor diversity in our shows, inviting our culturally expanding community to celebrate their talent on our stages, behind the scenes, or to be a member of our audience.

MAD Theatre of Tampa, Inc.

We strive to honor diversity in our shows, inviting the culturally expanding community to celebrate their talent on the stage or to be a member of the audience.

M.A.D. Theatre of Tampa is a non-profit organization, run by community volunteers. We welcome newcomers to the company in all areas of production, from directors and producers, to cast and orchestra, costuming, set design and construction, stage work, and lighting design.

Auditions are announced and open to members of the community. M.A.D. Theatre fosters an environment where seasoned performers can continue to work on their craft while new performers can have an environment to experiment and develop skills.

Additionally, M.A.D. Theatre is a vendor of the Hillsborough County School System and provides after-school enrichment programs in musical theater and dance to students grades K-12.

Thank you for visiting our website! We hope to see you soon!
